The Ways We See It
April 1 - 30, 2023
This exhibition views photography from four very distinct perspectives. From traditional to abstract, you will be thoroughly engaged by the variety of subject matter Edie, Raven, Rubin, and John bring to their photographic spheres.
-------------------------------------------------
John Box
Photography provides John with a vehicle for capturing the unique character of our surroundings.
His work focuses on landscapes, primarily in the southwest. He also enjoys capturing the architectural character of places where people live and work.
-------------------------------------------------
Rubin Latz
Rubin Latz is a “kid-in-a-candy-store” photographer, documenting life in and around city gardens, parks and lakes, community events, political rallies, high school athletics, and the local music scene.
His work has appeared in the Minnesota Spokesman-Recorder, Camden Community News, the Alliance for Sustainability, the North Star Journal, and the Sierra Club – North Star Chapter’s newsletter.
-------------------------------------------------
Edie Karras
Edie Karras has been taking pictures for over thirty years. She uses her images to create ceramic tiles, scarves, prints on wood, and many other types of products. Abstract imagery has always been a favorite topic, and the photographs in this selection are culled from food, nature, and inanimate objects.

Raven Miller
Raven Miller lives in Minneapolis, Minnesota where he works in a variety of artistic mediums. He views the process of making art as a laboratory in which experiments are carried out. He uses a wide range of materials and combines them in different ways to challenge the viewer’s concept of them.
